Glossary

A few words in Objectuve carry a narrower meaning than their everyday one, and a few sound alike but aren't. This is the one place that spells out the difference — each entry points to the page that goes deeper, where one exists.

Words that collide

Streak rank vs. XP rank

Two separate ten-rung ladders, driven by two separate numbers. Streak rank (First Stone → Legacy) climbs with your consecutive-day streak; XP rank (Open Road → Horizon) climbs with your total XP. The two used to share nine of ten titles — the XP ladder was renamed off the shared vocabulary so they no longer collide. See Achievements, XP & ranks for the XP ladder. The streak ladder isn't written up on its own page yet — its rungs above Steady Hand are Foundation, Cornerstone, Momentum, Architect, Pillar, Keystone, Monument, and Legacy.

Rest day vs. streak freeze

They protect two different streaks, not just two different deciders. A rest day softens your overall streak — the one built from any meaningful action, not only check-ins — automatically: Objectuve forgives one to start, plus one more for every 7 days of streak, with no action from you. A streak freeze protects one specific habit's own streak instead, and that streak has no automatic grace at all — two misses in a row always break it — so a freeze only helps if you spend it on purpose, ahead of a day you know you'll miss. See Habits & streaks for rest days and Streak freezes for freezes.

The six social nouns

Ally, Partner, Supporter, Team, Community, Room — six words, six different things, all contrasted in one place: tap See who's who on Communities or your Team home. Communities and Teams go deeper on each.

Progress & rewards

TermWhat it means
Stim XPA separate currency, earned only from Critical Path's daily puzzle on the Dashboard — unlocks puzzle themes and never touches the XP that climbs your rank.
Consistency %A habit's trailing 30-day check-in rate — how many of the last 30 days you actually checked in on, out of how many were expected, not counting any day a freeze covered. See Habits & streaks.
PaceAhead, on track, or behind your own update rhythm on a goal — compares how often you're actually updating it against how often you said you would, not against its target date. See Goals.
StatusA goal's health at a glance — Active, Needs attention, Paused, or Completed — based on how long it's been since you touched it. A separate computation from pace above; the two can disagree. See Goals.
Activity heatmapDarker squares are busier days, scaled against your own busiest day in the visible range — not a fixed count.

Together

TermWhat it means
Team coachA team member with elevated permissions over your team's data — a role, not the product. Your Coach, the voice behind check-ins and insights, is a different thing entirely. See Teams.
Community healthVery Active, Active, Moderate, Quiet, or Inactive — a rough read on how much is happening in a community lately, not a rating of the people in it. See Communities.
Community stats rowOn a community's own page, Your Progress is yours alone; Check-ins, Goals Done, and Posts are the whole community's totals, not yours. See Communities.

Your Coach

TermWhat it means
RhythmHow often you hear from your Coach — Every day, When I'm active, When I need it, or Weekly. The setup screen calls this Frequency; separate from tone and focus areas. See Meet your Coach.

Personality

TermWhat it means
Wing (e.g. "5w4")Your Enneagram type, plus the neighboring type that shapes how it expresses — "5w4" reads as "Type 5, wing 4."
